Black Tea
The most commonly consumed tea in the US. Black tea originated in China, but is now grown throughout the world. Black tea unlike Green and White teas is allowed to oxidize, which changes the leaf color from green to a coppery red. The basic processing for Black tea is: picking, withering, tumbling, rolling, oxidation and drying.
